Assalamu Alaikum and welcome! The Coventry University Islamic Society is your home away from home. Whether you're looking for community, spiritual support, or just want to connect with other Muslim students, ISOC is here for you.
Coventry University has dedicated prayer spaces for Muslim students. The main prayer room is located in The Hub (Jordan Well entrance, 3rd floor) and is accessible with your student keycard.
The Spirituality and Faith Centre at The Hub provides a quiet and welcoming space for all faiths. Muslim students have access to dedicated prayer rooms for both brothers and sisters.
Wudu facilities are available adjacent to the prayer rooms in The Hub. Please keep the area clean and tidy for fellow students.
Jumu'ah is held every Friday at 13:15 at the Coventry University Prayer Room. Please arrive 10 minutes early. It is an important gathering for the Muslim community on campus.
Joining ISOC is simple! Visit our website at covisoc.co.uk, click 'Join ISOC', and fill in your details. You'll gain access to events, the brothers/sisters portal, and the ISOC community.
Register with your GP early in the year. Set up your student email and university portal. Attend the freshers fair to discover all societies. Budget wisely — there are many free ISOC events throughout the year!
The main campus spans the city centre. Key buildings include The Hub, George Eliot Building, Charles Ward, and the Engineering and Computing Building. Download the campus map from the university website.
